Opening Shot. This is a view from the sea wall on Ocean Avenue in Sea Bright, NJ. Those little buildings in the background make up New York City. Notice the vast beach - a few years ago, there was nothing but this wall and the Atlantic. A very special thanks to the Army Corp of Engineers for their beach replenishment efforts.

Exit 109, Garden State Parkway. This is the official exit for Red Bank. We stole this scene on a Saturday morning when no one was around. Believe it or not, we had permission, but chose not to take the official route and pay for insurance (the reason for the scene taking place in the parking lot).

Palace Amusements, Asbury Park. One of the most famous and loved buildings on the Jersey Shore. We shot this just before the town condemned the building and closed off the street (it's falling down). Philip wanted this in the film no matter what, and he wanted the characters to talk about its history.
